Returning to the above topic and context, recently cases of cardiac arrest and heart attack among young children and youth are increasing across the state. The state government is sensitive about such frequent incidents. The state government is committed to prevent the occurrence of cardiac arrest and heart attack. Pursuant to which on 22/11/2023 Hon. Under the chairmanship of the Minister of Education, INDIAN SOCIETY OF ANAESTHESIOLOGIST- GUJARAT has organized a video conference to organize CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) training for the students of government primary schools across the state in the presence of deans and doctors of 37 medical colleges of the state. The following arrangements have been made so that maximum number of primary school teachers across the state can receive this training.

In order to benefit maximum number of teachers working in your district during the said training, the following suggestions have to be taken into consideration.




• If 300 teachers are to be trained in 1 batch, 300 teachers from 1 taluk should be planned accordingly.




If the number of teachers in any 1 taluka is less than 300, then a batch has to be formed by including the teachers of the nearest taluka.




• CPR training means respect. The instructions given in the video conference organized under the chairmanship of the Minister have to be taken into consideration.




• A list of the batchwise teachers who have benefited from the training in the said training should be made and the list should be sent to the doctor of the concerned district medical college as per the attached list.




• Districts which do not have medical college should not plan in the first phase from 03/12/2023 but should plan in the subsequent phase in consultation with their nearest district medical college doctor.




• The district primary education officer, district education officer and administration officer in coordination with the doctor of the concerned medical college will have to plan accordingly when the teachers of that district reach the training venue as per the allotted time batch wise.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is globally recognized as a catalyst for social change and national progress. "ICT Learning Labs"-Computer Labs are going to be developed in more government schools functioning in the state to improve the educational level of students and provide computer education through computer aided learning. The purpose of ICT learning labs in school education is to prepare children to participate creatively in educational processes. With a vision to establish, maintain and develop society leading to overall socio-economic development and global competitiveness of the nation "ICT Learning Lab" - Computer Lab to provide computer aided education and computer literacy in primary schools of the state 2/4




(1) Implementing Agency:




1. Agency M/s for implementation for a period of 05 (Five) years including supply, installation and maintenance support of “ICT Learning Lab” – Computer Lab in the schools as per the attached list under your control under the above project. ARMEE INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED has been appointed.




2. The implementing agency is responsible for supply-installation of computer hardware, software and connected accessories and for equipping all equipment for integrated use and providing maintenance support for five years to keep it in continuous working condition.

(4) Scope of Work for Selected Agency

1. Proper delivery, installation of all the said equipment (computer hardware, peripherals, electrification, cabling and associated software - along with application for online updating of school wise ICT inventory) to develop “ICT Learning Lab” – Computer Lab at school level. Doing, giving installation report and equipping all equipments for integrated use as per project concept.




2. Ensuring e-content updation by installing in all computers of labs at school level to e-content to be provided by entire Shiksha and / or providing new updates of e-content.




3. Installation of any other software provided by Total Shiksha in all lab computers at school level under the project. 4. Setting up an office at the state level and appointing a project manager.




5. Maintenance and troubleshooting support for the entire five year period of the project provide




6. OPERATING SYSTEMS AND OTHER SOFTWARE INCLUDING CONTENT FROM TIME TO TIME AND WHEN THIS SOFTWARE

11. There will be a comprehensive onsite warranty period of 05 (five) years from the date of installation under the project. During this period, if any hardware malfunctions more than three times in a month, the agency will be responsible for replacing such hardware with new hardware.




12. To provide maintenance support at school level during the project period and resolve any issue within 48 hours.




13. How to file complaints for hardware-software and other problems related to the project and to inform the teachers about the token number of the complaint.




14. Inform the teachers about where and when to complain if the complaint is not resolved.




15. To facilitate a help desk with a help line number for redressal of school grievances for the five year period of the project.




(5) Detailed Responsibilities of School Principal:




1. Project matter "ICT Learning Lab" - Allotment of room for computer lab setup with single phase power supply.




2. "ICT Learning Lab" - To keep windows-doors and all-drops, stoppers, grills and locks etc. in good condition of the room selected to be allotted for computer lab setup.




3. The Head Teacher / Acharyashri of the school will be the nodal person for the project matter and appoint an in-charge teacher for the computer lab and assign his responsibility as the assistant nodal person.




4. Project wise maintaining register of equipment downtime at school level, list of equipment and free service dates, preventive maintenance schedule and log register of daily use of labs and sir prize visits.




5. To see the effective use of the computer lab by the subject teacher every hour during school hours.




6. To take step down from school level to connect all computers in computer lab with internet connection.




7. Conducting electrical work in computer labs from school level and ensuring that it is done systematically.




8. It will be the responsibility of the Assistant Nodal Person (Teacher appointed at the school level) and Nodal Person (Principal) to keep all the equipment provided in the computer lab working.




9. Planning and arranging for training where required.






10. Immediate redressal of complaints of stopped or defective equipment.




11.Ensuring online updating of project progress details under ICT inventory.




12. It is mandatory to place a sheet displaying the help desk number in the computer lab.




13. "ICT Learning Lab" - Computer lab equipment provided to the school is only for the educational work of the children. Allow all children in the school to use the computer lab whenever they want.




14. To maintain all the equipments in such a way that the computer lab is kept alive and to see that the lab is clean, tidy and the windows and doors are strong and secure.

1. Where to apply for MYSY scheme and what is the application process?


→ MYSY scheme application has to be done online at https://mysy.guj.nic.in portal. Students have to register by going to Login/Register on the said portal. After registration, one has to fill the necessary details, upload the necessary documents and get the verification done at the help-center.


2. What is the eligibility to apply in MYSY scheme?


> To apply in MYSY scheme the following two conditions must be satisfied.


1) a) 80 percentile or more in Class-XII Science stream or General stream examination for graduation course


b) 80 percentile or above in class-10th examination for course in Diploma


k) 65% or more in course examination in Diploma for D-to-D course


2) Rs. Children of parents having family annual income up to 6 lakhs will get the benefit of this scheme.


Note: This scheme is only for graduate courses, not for postgraduate courses.


3. In which year of college can application for MYSY scheme be made?


- Eligible students can apply under MYSY scheme in first year of college. Students who have missed the application due to default can apply in any year of the college

Another historic decision of the state government for the farmers in the new year

Energy Minister Mr. Kanubhai Desai has said that the state government is concerned about the interests of farmers




New year has taken a historic decision to provide one more electricity connection to the farmers who are using rain water in their fields having a single survey number. Energy Minister added that under the guidance of the Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, the state government has taken several decisions in the interest of the farmers and whenever required. The government has always stood by the farmers. As a result of the decision of the energy department to provide one more electricity connection to the farmer's farm to those who use rain water (surface water), the crop production of the farmers will increase and become more economically prosperous. This decision has been taken by taking into consideration. The Energy Minister added that due to this decision, the farmers will get one more electricity connection for the purpose of irrigation through canals, ponds, rivers, creeks, dams, check dams, ponds filled under Sujalam Suflam, farm ponds and other rain sources. will be saved in a big way and at the same time the farmers will also be saved in the electricity bill. Not only this, there will be a massive reduction in carbon emissions and the revenue of the state will also benefit, he added.




The farmers of the state enthusiastically hailed this decision and thanked the Chief Minister of the state Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel and Energy Minister Shri Kanubhai Desai.
